Calculator to solve oblique triangles
Calculator Usage
This calculator was designed to solve oblique triangles. An oblique triangle is any triangle that does not have a 90-degree angle. However, you can also use it to solve right triangles.
Fields
As you can see in the calculator fields, there are 6 fields, 3 for sides and 3 for angles. Each angle and side is labeled with a letter (a, b, and c). So, side "A" is opposite to angle "a," and similarly for sides "B" and "C."
This calculator is built on the principles of the laws of sine and cosine, so to solve a triangle, you need at least 2 sides and 1 angle.
Problem 1: Calculate the angles of a triangle with sides measuring 90 meters, 100 meters, and 150 meters.
Problem 2: We have a triangle where side A is 90 meters long, side B is 50 meters long, and these sides form a 25-degree angle. What is the length of side C?
Problem 3: If side C of a triangle is 12.5 meters and side B is 23.2 meters, forming a 30-degree angle, find the length of side A.
